'Heart of a Champion' Story Code '66425' by Tommy Thompson

23rd July 1955: Sam leaps into the body of wrestler Terry Sammis, as he and his brother Ronnie compete in a televised tag-team fight as ‘The Battling Rooskies’. After Sam knocks out his opponent with a roundhouse kick, he and Ronnie are declared the winners; however, their success is greeted by jeers and boos from the audience, while the fight’s organiser is furious at their going ‘off-script’. After a run-in with rival wrester Carly Shylo, and his lascivious wife Sherry, Sam learns that he and Ronnie have qualified for the title fight in the ‘Wrestle-a-Thon’. But then Al arrives and informs Sam that his mission is to prevent Ronnie from taking part in the championship, as he will die from heart failure during the fight. Sam does everything he can to dissuade Ronnie, but the man stubbornly refuses – he’ll compete in the title fight, even if it kills him…
